Man jumps to his death

A man jumped to his death from the roof of a multi-storey car park in Telford Town Centre today.

Emergency services were called to reports of a man on the roof of the Cherry Pink car park at about 11.30am.

By the time police arrived officers discovered a body on the floor.

Telford police spokesman Chris Ammonds said the car park had been closed off while detectives carried out forensic tests.
