Knighton

Distance: Three-and-a-half miles. Starting at the Offa’s Dyke Information Centre in West Street in Knighton, walk down the side of the information centre and follow the Offa’s Dyke Path signposts across the grassy area and down the steps to a path running alongside the River Teme.


Haughmond

Distance: Two-and-a-half miles. Start at the Forestry Commission car park on the road to Upton Magna, south of the B5062.


Goldstone

Distance: Four miles. Start at the staggered crossroads at Goldstone Common to the east of the A529. At the crossroads, take the unsignposted lane, which climbs slowly with a wood on the right.


Chirk

Distance: Two-and-a-half miles. Start at or near Chirk Railway Station. Cross the railway bridge and continue along the lane to the gates of Chirk Castle, which are almost 300 years old.


Betton

Distance: Four-and-a-half miles. Start at the small lay-by on the lane from the A53 to Betton, just north of Tunstall Hall.


Acton Scott

Distance : Three miles. Start on the wide verge of the lane to Ragdon, north of the crossroads in Acton Scott.


Enville

Distance: Four miles. Start the walk in Morfe Lane, east of the A458 to the north of Enville. Walk along the lane in the direction of Swindon for about half a mile.


Cheswardine

Distance: Three-and-a-half miles. Start at St Swithun’s church at the top of High Street. From the bottom of the church steps, turn left along lane to Chipnall.


Bettisfield

Distance: Four Miles. Start your walk at the lane junction at the south end of Bettisfield village.


Acton Round

Distance: Three miles. Start at the double footpath sign on the lane to Monkhopton, one-and-a-half miles east of Bourton.


Wentnor

Distance: Four miles. This walk starts at the lane junction at the north end of Wentnor village. Walk through the village past the Crown Inn, bear left at the junction past the church and walk downhill to a stile on the left.


Roughton

Distance: Three miles. Start opposite Brook Lane in the village, south of the A464. Then walk along Brook Lane, bear right at the first junction and continue around a right-hand bend and uphill to Hoccum Farm at the top.
