Telford housing estate is drawing interest

A new housing development in Telford is proving popular with house hunters, it was claimed today.
House builder Barratt West Midlands has reported high levels of interest in the Clover Mead development, in Lawley, where residents have started to move in.
Shane Williamson, who recently moved into a three-bedroom home, said he was attracted by the completely different style of housing.
“Clover Mead was the first Barratt development that I had looked round and it was totally different to the other new build sites that I had visited.” said Mr Williamson.
“With the variety of homes they have here it’s more like a village community, which was great from my perspective.
“I’ve had friends and family round and they all say the same thing.
“I was surprised by just how much I could get for my money too — I was living in a detached property before, but I’ve definitely got more space here, which is great for my son Alfie and I.
“The aftercare has been spot on and the site staff always pop in and check that everything’s all right — and if you do have any small problems they sort them out straight away.
Clover Mead is in Lawley Village and offers from three to six-bedroom houses.
