Builder consults over Newport homes plan

Nearly 80 people attended a consultation event for plans to build 30 homes in Newport.
The event was held at Cosy Hall to give people information about the proposals to build on land near Honeysuckle Canal, off Broomfield Road.
Birmingham-based Link Property Solutions is behind the proposals. John Brown, its company director, said: “We were pleased with the turnout to the public event, which we found very informative and will lead to a number of amendments being made to the scheme.”
