Teen beauty spot drinkers are ramblers, not rebels

Anyone who has been priced out of home ownership and wants to get on to the property ladder is being urged to take advantage of the inaugural First Time Buyer Month, organised by a leading Telford housebuilder this July.
Barratt West Midlands is offering a range of attractive deals to help first-time buyers purchase a place of their own. The housebuilder is inviting prospective homeowners to special weekend events at their developments throughout the month to explain what is on offer.
At the events, buyers will have the opportunity to discuss mortgage options with financial advisers and talk to Barratt’s sales team about the deals on offer.
“Our message is very simple – you don’t need a big deposit to buy a new home from us,” said Graydon Worthing, sales director at Barratt West Midlands.
“You could move in for just 70 per cent of the price thanks to the HomeBuy Direct low-cost home ownership scheme.
The remaining 30 per cent is covered by a loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.
Move quickly
“It means that your deposit could be as little as £3,164. But you’ll need to move quickly because the scheme is coming to an end.
“We also have a helpful scheme of our own called Head Start, under which buyers can move in with an 80 per cent mortgage and a five per cent deposit.
“Barratt West Midlands is offering ways to make home ownership more realistic and affordable for first-time buyers which the second-hand market simply cannot match. I would urge anyone who is interested in finding out more to come along to one of the events we are organising in July.”
The First Time Buyer events will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18, from 10am to 5pm, and Thursday, July 29, from 5pm to 8pm at developments throughout Telford.
They are Clover Mead, The Crescent, Lawley Village (01952 630176), which has a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments priced from £100,950 and three, four and five-bedroom houses from £179,950; Monarch Fields, Station Road, Donnington (01952 606852), which has one and two-bedroom apartments priced from £90,400 and three and four-bedroom houses priced from £170,300.
