VWs on show at Oswestry Showground

Hundreds of VW vans, many customised and brightly coloured, will be heading for Shropshire this weekend for the first event of the season for fans of the iconic vehicle.
The Bus Types VW Show will be held at the Oswestry Showground, Park Hall, from Friday to Sunday and is expected to attract visitors from across the UK, keen to show off their vans.
They will include split screen and bay window versions, T25s, T4s and T5s, say the organisers.
Activities will include a Show and Shine, bus displays, a large trade and auto-jumble village, more than 150 trade stands selling everything from new and spare parts to VW memorabilia.
There will also be evening entertainment organised for Friday and Saturday evenings and children’s activities throughout the weekend.
Weekend ticket are £20 for adults and £5 for children. Camping is free.
