Hundreds of antique toy cars are revving up interest from enthusiasts across Shropshire after going on sale at a county antiques centre.
Two display cabinets at Old Mill Antiques in Bridgnorth are crammed full with classic car models ranging from Aston Martin’s to Jaguars.
Old Mill bosses say the mini motors went on display last week.
Since then word had spread throughout the county and car lovers are racing each other to snaffle the collectables.
There are several hundred different makes of car as well as associated motoring memorabilia including key rings, badges and posters.
Bosses say both motoring enthusiasts and regular customers are attracted to the cars.
Old Mill co-director Denis Ridgway said the cars dated from the 1950s up to the early 2000s and were priced between £5 and £25.
He said: “We’ve never seen quite such an enormous collection of model cars, vans, motorcycles and other vehicles, there are hundreds to choose from.
“Serious collectors have been very interested, but also people keen to buy the cars as presents.
“We have had buyers wanting a model of the very first car they bought, the car they went on honeymoon in and so on.
“With so very many to choose from, it’s quite likely you can find the model you want or something very similar.”
