Orders are continuing to be placed for Nissan’s unique crossover vehicle, well into next year.

That’s the announcement from William A. Lewis, Nissan’s authorised dealer in Shropshire, who say people are forward ordering to beat the VAT rise in January.

“The phenomenal success of Juke roars on,” said dealer principal Mervyn Hughes.

“The number-one selling car is breaking all records and we are thrilled.”

He said the Juke’s crossover uniqueness with its combined sports and SUV styling had really caught on in the marketplace where people were looking for something “different and refreshing”.

“They are taking a test drive and saying “yes please”. Ever since its launch in September we have been inundated with inquiries and the order book for Juke outstrips anything we have experienced in recent times.”

William A. Lewis Nissan has a full line-up of demonstrators at its Stafford Park, Telford site. The demonstrators are available with all three engines, the 1.6 petrol, 1.5 DCI and 1.6 DIG-T.

The on-road starting price of £12,795 rises to £19,995 for the Tekna 1.6 DIG-T 4×4 variant – the range topping model which is equally in demand.

All models come with three years low-cost servicing at £250, three years RAC breakdown cover and three years 5.9 per cent finance.

Added Mervyn: “The Juke is British built and its success is therefore helping to support the UK economy.”
