The UK’s only road-going Vauxhall ‘Vivaro Vault’ rolled into Worfield near Bridgnorth last week to collect more than £500 raised by Vauxhall retailer Evans Halshaw for the Help for Heroes charity.

The Vivaro Vault, which was specially commissioned by Vauxhall Motors, is undertaking a two-week ‘Drive for Heroes’ tour of the UK to collect funds raised by Vauxhall retailers for Help for Heroes.

It is one of many fundraising activities Vauxhall has arranged for its two year support partnership with the charity which helps British servicemen and women who have been wounded in the service of their country.

The specially customised Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive Double Cab 2.0 CDTi is swathed in Help for Heroes livery and comes complete with Fort Knox-inspired graphics.

Evans Halshaw has raised £515 after just four months of fundraising through various activities such as collecting donations for wrist bands in their showroom and also by attending events such as the Burwarton Show and fundraising for the charity on their stand.

Giles Billington, general sales team Leader at Evans Halshaw Worfield had the honour of depositing the cheque in the Vivaro Vault.

“All our staff and customers have been really supportive of our fundraising for Help for Heroes and we hope this will be the first of many cheques we can present to this worthy charity.”

Those wishing to make a contribution to Vauxhall’s Help for Heroes campaign can do so by logging on to the website.
