William Hague at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague targeted some real “floating voters” when he visited the picturesque Pontcysyllte Aqueduct as the Welsh Conservative election roadshow hit the Shropshire/Welsh border.
Mr Hague, former Conservative Party leader, chatted to holidaymakers and met party activists when he arrived on the campaign trail at the Trevor canal basin near Oswestry yesterday.
He said it was vital policies were in place to create jobs in the area.
And later he was at the Coed-Y-Dinas Garden, Home and Country Centre in Welshpool to back Tory parliamentary candidate Glyn Davies.
