How lovely that the people of Lea Cross have their church building back and carried out their first event with the Stations of the Cross. What a miracle it would be if the Leaders of the Christian Church could see it in their heart to return all the items, that had been made for St Ann’s, and had been removed when the Hereford Diocese took control of the building in 2005. The items had been lovingly made by local people in honour of the Hawkes family and St Ann’s Church. These items are a lectern, two Bishops Chairs about twenty hassocks, a beautifully restored altar frontal, a carved organ surround and a number of other items. It is now clear that the building is not going to be converted into housing and these items could now be returned to the people of Lea Cross and St Ann where they rightfully belong.
