Spectacular convoy supports RAF
Monday 29th March 2010, 11:03AM BST.

Motorbikes make their way into the Park and Ride at Meole Brace.
Thousands of motorcyclists – many decked out in fancy dress – travelled down Shropshire’s M54 in a spectacular convoy as they raised cash for the county’s war heroes.
More than 3,000 bikers met in Shrewsbury yesterday to begin the Royal Air Force Association’s annual Easter Egg Run – a 25-mile ride to raise funds for the Wings Appeal.
The group rode in convoy from the Meole Brace Park and Ride in Shrewsbury to the RAF Museum in Cosford, delivering Easter eggs to the families of RAF personnel and injured servicemen and women at the end of the journey.

What a great way to raise money for the lads and lasses in the forces, here especially the RAF.As an Ex member of the RAF I can only say well done to all those bikers. When you are a serviceman doing a job for your country it really helps to know that your country supports you and I can only say support our services-they’re the best in the world and I was proud to have been a part of them!
