Crash shuts town route
Saturday 27th March 2010, 11:30AM GMT.
A woman was taken to hospital today after the car she was travelling in crashed and overturned on the M54.
The accident happened on the slip road of junction six at Telford West at 7am. The road was closed for about an hour.
John Hawker, for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “We took a patient to the Princess Royal Hospital but there does not appear to be serious injuries.”
Inspector Nigel Morgan, from Telford Police, said: “There appears to be no other vehicles involved at this time but we will be investigating.”
