Scout leader sentenced over child images

A 47-year-old former North Shropshire scout leader has been banned from working with youngsters for the rest of his life after admitting making thousands of indecent images of children.

David Stokes, of Egerton Road, Whitchurch, was sentenced to a three-year community order at Shrewsbury Crown Court today after admitting 12 counts of making indecent photographs of children and four counts of possessing indecent photographs of children.
