A lot of people spend months working hard in order to be able to afford a holiday in the summer when they can visit a sun-drenched resort and leave their working stresses behind them for a week at least.

That elusive ideal holiday in the sun is now easier to come across than it has been in the past and can also be cheaper than ever, thanks to the rise of package holidays, which have made finding cheap hotels is easy and hassle free.

Not only can you save hundreds of pounds by staying in cheaper hotels, but as accommodation is often the main expense on a holiday, then the money you save can be spent on having a good time in the European destination of your choice.

In recent years the European country of Turkey has become a more and more popular holiday destination for people of all ages as an increasing number of travel companies now offer package holidays there.

Situated in the south east of Europe close to Asia, Turkey has a mixed culture that takes aspects from both Europe and Asia and the eight countries that it borders, including Bulgaria, Greece and Georgia.

One of the most popular resorts in Turkey for holidaymakers is the coastline of the Turkish Aegean Sea to the west of the country where there are plenty of hotel deals available that allow tourists to visit the stunning coastline.

Home to a temperate Mediterranean climate, the towns of Marmaris and Turunc are two of the most popular resorts within the Aegean region.

In both of these resorts a wide range of hotels are available that will suit everyone’s budget and a stay in a cheap hotel will be ideal for many visitors.

Package holidays are available for less than £300 per person, with the My Meric hotel in Turunc, and the Halici Holiday Village and Club Pineta that are located in Marmaris all offering a great range of facilities and are ideally situated for trips to the beach.

The perfect looking white beaches against the crystal clear blue seas mean that the Turkish Aegean coastline is extremely pleasing aesthetically.

A varied coastal landscape makes the coastline ideal for water sports enthusiasts, and the nearby green mountains are ready to be explored.

The ruins of ancient Turkish towns such as Troy and Pergamon are incredibly mysterious, whilst when the sun goes down visitors can enjoy the thriving nightlife that even rivals Istanbul, or relax on a peaceful restaurant terrace.

The location of the Turkish Aegean coastline not only gives the region a warm climate and stunning scenery, but also offers plenty of variety in terms of tourist attractions.

Night time entertainment in the nearby towns can be matched by an idyllic walk along the beach, and with great hotel deal available, whatever activities you choose, your stay in Turkey won’t cost the world.
