Volunteers sought for awards

Ludlow Town Council is calling for nominations to celebrate people who have undertaken voluntary work of an outstanding nature for the community.
It comes as part of the town council’s civic awards which have been split into two categories. Young people under 18 and people over 18.
The work may have been for a single event, or for a period of exceptional service over several years.
Anyone who would like to nominate someone is asked to apply to the town clerk for an application form.
Nominations should reach the town clerk by April 16. The town council will consider all nominations at its meeting on April 26.
The awards will be presented at the Mayor Making Ceremony on May 26 at 7pm at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
