Haiti cash stolen
Tuesday 9th March 2010, 3:00PM GMT.
Money raised to help people in Haiti has been stolen from a Shrewsbury charity shop.
Bosses at the Red Cross shop, in Mardol, have branded the thieves “idiots”.
The incident happened between about 5pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday last week.
Shop manager Hannah Simpson said about £200 was taken.
Police have issued an appeal for anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact them on 0300 333 3000.
