Fundraiser for forces called off

Organisers of a charity fundraiser in north Shropshire have been “sickened” by the lack of support for an event to aid injured soldiers.
Des Clorley, organiser of the event at Wem Town Hall, has been forced to pull the plug on Saturday’s cabaret and dance night.
The event should have raised cash for Help for Heroes.

I did just that, and was quite surprised at what I saw, and what was available to help their fund.
