Three injured in collision

Saturday 6th March 2010, 7:40PM GMT.

Three people were taken to hospital after the car they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a tree and overturned in Shropshire.
Emergency services were called to the incident, which is believed to have involved a single vehicle, in Haughton Lane in Shifnal at 4pm on Saturday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said a man in his 20s was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham with serious head injuries after being trapped in the car for nearly half an hour. Two other people were also taken to hospital.
