Man in court on cannabis charges

A 23-year-old man has appeared in court charged with producing a large quantity of cannabis plants at an address in Telford.
Thong Duc Nguyen, of no fixed abode, appeared at a special sitting of Telford Magistrates Court on Saturday morning after police raided a home in Stebbings, Sutton Hill, on Friday.
Nguyen did not enter a plea to the charge of producing the plants, a controlled drug of Class B, and was remanded in custody to appear before the same court on Tuesday
