A5 tailbacks after smash
Wednesday 3rd March 2010, 11:39AM GMT.
Motorists faced rush-hour tailbacks today after a collision on the A5 between Shrewsbury and Telford.
The incident happened on an eastbound stretch of the road about three miles from the Preston Island on the outskirts of Shrewsbury.
Police were called at about 7.45am and motorists reported slow moving traffic. It is not thought anyone was injured in the accident.
Central Motorways Police Group took over the incident and recovered the vehicle at 10am.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it had not been called to the incident.
