Saturday 27th February 2010, 10:59AM GMT.

A Mid Wales woman who was involved in a serious three-vehicle crash has died. The 81-year-old, who was from the Knighton area, has been named locally as Pam Ryder.
She was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham after the collision on Monday. She died on Wednesday.
The accident happened on the A4113 at the junction with the B4367, near Bucknell, at about 3pm. Police have appealed for witnesses.
On arrival officers discovered three vehicles had been involved – a silver Peugeot 206, a silver Ford Transit and a red Volkswagen Golf.
In a separate accident, a elderly couple were taken to hospital after their car was involved in a smash which closed the A49 trunk road near the Shropshire/ Herefordshire border for about six hours yesterday.
The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital by air ambulance after he suffered a broken arm in the crash, which happened on the Leominster bypass just before 3.40pm.
The couple’s car overturned after it was involved in a collision with a lorry and ended up near a railway line next to the busy road.
The couple were released from the wreckage by firefighters from Leominster.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said the closure caused long tailbacks for motorists leaving and entering Shropshire from Herefordshire.
Ambulance spokesman Chris Kowalik said the driver was flown to Hereford County Hospital. His passenger, a woman in her 70s, suffered minor injuries and was taken by land ambulance to the same hospital.
