Brian Robb is hoping to seal his return to the Shropshire amateur boxing coaching scene in the next two months.
Robb, who recently saw a three month suspension for bringing the sport into disrepute ended, has launched an application to open a new boxing club in Telford.
The former Shrewsbury ABC coach has written to the Amateur Boxing Association seeking permission to open the Sam Stewart Boxing Academy on the Tweedale Industrial Estate in Madeley.
“Once the ABA have received the letter they will come down and look at the gym, and then make a decision,” said Robb, whose boxers are currently based representing Chemsley Wood ABC.
