Facebook grips area

Shropshire is in the grip of Facebook frenzy, it was revealed today.
Shrewsbury and Telford have massive Facebook populations, with thousands of county residents joining the social networking giant.
A new chart shows Shrewsbury has the 37th biggest Facebook base in the UK – with Telford at 65 and Llandrindod Wells, Powys, at 59.
Sunderland tops the national chart, put together for BBC TV show The Virtual Revolution. There are over 23 million users of the internet site in the country.
