A lorry overturned on a main road in Telford this afternoon, leading to long tailbacks for drivers.

The lorry flipped over on the A442 Eastern Primary near the Greyhound Roundabout at Ketley Bank at about 1.50pm

John Hawker, spokesman for West Midland Ambulance Service, said: “A patient suffered minor cuts and bruises and was treated on the scene and did not require hospital treatment.”

Mr Hawker was unable to confirm if the patient was the driver.

Police were on the scene to divert motorists around the lorry.
