Letter: Come and get it, charities
Thursday 18th February 2010, 7:25AM GMT.
Letter: Why is it that when charities drop an empty bag through the letter boxes of our homes for clothes that we no longer need, they never turn up when you go to the trouble of filling the bag with clothes?
I have phoned the Midlands Air Ambulance three times now and told them that the bag of clothes have been outside our property for over a week now and still they do not call.
I understand it is not the Air Ambulance’s fault – it is the contractors that are at fault.
Now I will be taking the clothes to a charity shop.

I get loads of these through the door. Nobody ever turns up to collect them so now I just push them back through the letterbox. Someone is wasting a lot of charity funds by delivering them in the first place.
