Manager Paul Simpson has praised Shrewsbury Town after their  3-1 win over Hereford at the Prostar Stadium.

He said: “I thought we showed a determination to get back into the game and showed great quality from set pieces, with people willing to get on the end, and that’s what gave us the victory in the end.”

Simpson also praised the Town fans for making “a hell of a lot of noise”.

Hereford took the lead after four minutes, but Town’s Langmead equalised 10 minutes later. Goals from Cansdell-Sherriff, in the 24th minute, and Coughlan in the 79th, gave Town a deserved victory.
