Clee Hill are aiming to make it four wins in a row in Midlands 5 West (SW) tomorrow against the last side to beat them.

They host Birmingham Civil Service, who beat them back in mid-November.

Birmingham have actually recorded four consecutive victories, all at home.

But that followed on from a run of five straight defeats at the start of the season all away from home.

And Clee, upbeat after their five try drubbing of Chaddersley Corbet last time out will be aiming to ensure their visitors’ poor travelling record continues in south Shropshire.

In Midlands 3 West (North), Telford Hornets are looking forward to the first of three home games in a row when they host promotion-chasing Tamworth.

Telford have struggled this season and remain in the thick of the relegation battle.

But skipper Rob Coventry insisted: “We will make life as difficult for them as we can and get into them from the start.

“We’ve had a poor run away from home all season, but we’ve got three home games to come and we’re going to enjoy it.”

The Hornets are without the injured Michael Venn, with Aaron Doignie coming in to take his place in the second row.

Bishop’s Castle entertain Newcastle (Staffs) tomorrow, looking to consolidate their place in the top half of the table.

Weather woes mean that they have only played two league games since the middle of December.

They also lost at home to league leaders Leek in their last home clash three weeks ago.

But a win tomorrow would help them in trying to bridge the six-point gap to the top four sides.
