Bucks to wait on news of striker
Thursday 11th February 2010, 11:49AM GMT.

Assistant manager Larry Chambers will be guided by his physios as he sweats on the fitness of AFC Telford United striker Danny Carey-Bertram.
The 25-year-old striker bagged a fabulous four goals against Vauxhall Motors last week, but then tweaked his hamstring during the victory at Droylsden on Saturday.
He sat out the 2-2 draw with Gainsborough on Tuesday, but has not yet been ruled out for the visit of Redditch this weekend.
“If his hamstring is still a problem at training tonight then I don’t think he’ll be available for Saturday,” said Chambers.
“If he plays when it’s not totally right then there’s a chance he could do it again. I’ll be guided by what the physios tell me.
“Liam Blakeman might have a slight groin strain as well and we’ll know where we are with that one after tonight,” he revealed.
The Telford squad were set for some harsh words in training this evening, with Chambers still fuming at the way his side conceded a late equaliser against Gainsborough.
They had looked on course for victory when Phil Trainer headed them in front late on, only for the visitors to score an 89th minute equaliser.
“I still can’t believe we threw the game away and I’m still angry with the ill-discipline and naivety of the team,” added the Bucks No 2.
Chairman Lee Carter is confident that the frost covers at the New Bucks Head are doing their job and that Saturday’s game will go ahead despite the latest cold snap.
Groundstaff are lifting the covers each morning to work on the playing surface, and re-laying them in the afternoon.
Carter said any supporters available at either 9am or 3.30pm tomorrow to help with the process would be welcomed.
