An episode of BBC1′s Antiques Roadshow featuring a Shropshire tourist attraction is to be broadcast on Sunday.

Cameras were at Blists Hill Victorian Town to film the show in the autumn. People will be able to see what treasures were taken along during the programme which is on at 7pm.

Paul Gossage, from the Ironbridge Gorge Muse-um, said: “Working with the crew from the Antiques Roadshow was a great experience and a real privilege.

“It took over two years of planning to ensure that everything was perfect on the day. The sun came out and we welcomed about 1,500 people keen to either have a treasured object valued or to watch the show being made.

“The whole operation was run to perfection by a vast team of producers, directors, camera and sound men, not to mention the antique experts themselves and Fiona Bruce, who was charming to everyone.”
