The scene at the St Martins Business Park today
Another employee from a unit on the estate in Ellesmere Road said: “Armed police rushed to St Martins about 8.30am and asked me if I had seen a Mr Hugh McFall. I know he took over a unit on the estate in the last few weeks with a flower business. I last saw him yesterday afternoon and he seemed alright.”
Another worker, who did not wish to be named, said there were about five armed officers and a string of police vehicles in the village before he opened his unit up.
He said that at about 10am police cordoned off the estate and asked everybody to leave.
Police have taped off the scene and set up a second cordon outside the Castle Garage MOT Centre.
Forensic officers arrived in white suits at about 12.30pm to carry out further investigations.
