Susan Francesca and Hugh McFall
A tenant said today that the unit where the body of a man believed to be Hugh McFall was found this morning had just been leased by Mr McFall.
Police found the body of a man at Growing Places, a unit rented by Mr McFall on St Martins Business Park near Oswestry.
He previously ran the flower business from inside Stan’s supermarket in St Martins.
Bill Jones, who owns BJ Bottle & Gas Supplies on the business park, described Mr McFall as a “normal” man and expressed his shock at what had happened.
He said: “I last saw him on Wednesday, he seemed alright to me, he seemed normal. He used to stop and say hello all the time. He used to buy his gas from us and he came in on Wednesday to pay his bill and he was perfectly okay then.
“He took over the unit at the start of January. I think he used to have another flower business at Stan’s Supermarket for a few years.”
