Dog of the week: Max

Max is a three year old crossbreed who is looking for new owners who like a challenge and have the time and patience to teach him basic training – he is a quick learner and eager to learn new skills.
Dogs Trust Roden Rehoming Centre Manager, Louise Campbell, said: “Although Max can be quite shy when he first meets you, he really is a very friendly boy who simply hasn’t been taught the basics.
“He absolutely loves his toys and will play for hours if you let him. He is a very placid lad who is brilliant with other dogs. He has excellent recall and he really enjoys going for long walks.
“The ideal home for Max would be one without children and where his new owners will have the time to allow him to settle in and find his feet.”
