Lucky escape for town goose

A goose had a lucky escape after it got stuck in some railings in Bridgnorth.
Fire crews were called to rescue the bird after it wandered off from the river near the town’s Bylet Bowling Club in Low Town at 9.13pm on Saturday.
Firefighters used a life jacket and a short extension ladder to prise him free.
