Letter: I wonder if I could use your letters page to thank the people and businesses of Audlem for their many acts of kindness and concern during the period when we were iced in on our hired narrowboat.
This village is exactly the place to be stuck, not only because of the many excellent facilities but because of the numerous acts of kindness and offers of support that we received from the warm and generous people of Audlem.
One might say that we are gluttons for punishment but we have resolved to book again for this Christmas largely as a result of the kindness received from this community
