A Shropshire dance group has failed in its bid to reach the final of a national TV competition to win £100,000.

DNA appeared in the semi-final of Sky One’s Got To Dance show last night but after a gutsy performance the public failed to get behind the eight-strong team from Telford.

But today the group’s choreographer, Dee Spencer, said the dancers were still happy with their performance.

She said: “It went really well and they preformed amazingly.

“They are really happy because they had a lot of technical problems building up to it. But they are delighted to get this far.”
