The council are talking rubbish I was stuck on madeley bank for three hours this morning behind a lorry, attiva buses and various other vehicles that were trying to drive up and down the bank on packed ice and snow.one man phoned the council and had his phone on loudspeaker the operator stated that none of the roads in this area had been gritted. then shortly after the police arived accessed the situation and then decided to close the road. i started out at seven this morning and got to work at eleven approx 13 miles from Broseley to Donnington.
