Woman dies in county road smash
Monday 25th January 2010, 7:13PM GMT.
A young woman has died following a crash between an articulated lorry and a car on a Shropshire road.
The woman, believed to have been the driver of the car, died at the scene of the smash which happened on the A53 about a mile south of Shawbury just after 5pm.
Police said the road was closed between Shrewsbury and Shawbury while emergency services worked at the scene.
