Youngsters are being urged to visit the Royal Air Force Museum in Cosford over half-term next month and join in the hunt for mascot Percy the Penguin.

An RAF airman’s flying mascot has disappeared from his display case in search of a “cooler” home.

Museum spokeswoman Michelle Worthington said: “Percy has left some clues to help us find him but we need bright young detectives to help solve the clues and find out where he is hiding.

“All correct entries will also be entered into a draw to win a £15 voucher to spend in the Royal Air Force Museum Shop.”

The Missing Mascot Trail runs from February 13 to 21. For further details visit www.rafmuseum.org or call (01902) 376200.
