Shrewsbury snap up new defender

Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson has moved to strengthen his defensive options by signing Huddersfield left-back Joe Skarz on loan.
The 20-year-old has already made a total of 88 appearances in his fledgling career, including seven on loan at Hartlepool at the end of last season.
He has played 20 times for Lee Clark’s Huddersfield team in League One this season and goes straight into the Shrewsbury squad for Saturday’s clash at home to Dagenham & Redbridge.
