Arrests after alleged shooting

Police arrested a man and a woman in the Donnington area of Telford this afternoon in connection with an alleged shooting incident in James Close, Trench, at 10.30am today.
The pair were taken to Malinsgate Police Station in Telford where they were due to be questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.
The arrests follow an alleged shooting in which a man suffered pellet wounds to one arm.
He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, but his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
