Comic likes looking at birds
Tuesday 19th January 2010, 8:35AM GMT.
An award-winning comedian will be entertaining an audience at a Shropshire village hall this month to mark the start of an annual birdwatching event.
Alex Horne will be in Shifnal on January 29 with his show Birdwatching.
Backed by the RSPB, the show organisers say it is a delight for twitchers and comedy fans alike – good clean fun and suitable for all the family.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts 7.30pm. There is a licensed bar and home-made cakes are available.
Tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for children and £15 for a family.
There is also a 10 per cent discount for RSPB and Shropshire Ornithological Society members. This event marks the beginning of RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch weekend.
