Blog: Wonka ‘pleased’ with takeover deal

Chocolatier Willy Wonka today said he was very pleased with the takeover deal agreed for his company.
Wonka, the reclusive confectionary genius, said young Charlie Bucket would make an excellent new manager for his business.
Bucket’s appointment has caused consternation in the city of London.
“He’s about 11 years old and he got the firm by winning a golden ticket,” said one dealer. “It’s hardly the best way to organise one of the largest sweet firms in the world.”
The appointment has left Wonka facing several lawsuits after a number of the young applicants claimed they were left in serious ill-health by the recruitment process.
One claimed he was trapped inside a chocolate filled tube for several hours, while another said she was turned into a giant blueberry.
Meanwhile, the Ooompa Loompa union said it was concerned that Bucket would seek to reduce costs by cutting their allocation of cocoa beans.
In a spontaneous song the Oompa Loompas criticised “corporate greed” .
