Saints on sidelines

The New Saints were left kicking their heels in their pursuit of the Welsh Premier crown after their rescheduled clash at Airbus UK was postponed yesterday.
Originally due to be played on Friday night, the match was put back 48 hours by agreement between both clubs, but the delay did not proved fruitful with the Airfield pitch still waterlogged following the recent thaw and heavy rain.
Despite missing out on any action – their second successive away game to bite the dust – the Saints remain top as their closest rivals Llanelli were also thwarted by the weather.
