The following schools will be closed today because of the bad weather.

Secondary schools closed

  • Lacon Childe Seconday School in Cleobury Mortimer

Additional information
Church Stretton Secondary School is open but there are problems with the buses. The Worthen Motors buses, numbers 1 and 2 from Bayston Hill are not going through the Bayston Hill estate or through Stapleton. The Horrocks Bus (CS1059) from Acton Scott is also not running. And Craven Arms Buses are not picking up in Wistanstow and Acton Burnell. They are sticking to the main roads only.

  • Hopton Wafers Primary

  • Norbury Primary
  • Rushbury Primary
  • Stottesdon Primary
  • Stiperstones Primary and preschool
  • Worthen Primary is closed due to a burst pipe and no heating.

Additional information

  • Newcastle CE Primary is open from 9.45am to 3pm, but only the Two Crosses bus service to Whitcott (picking up at 9.30am) is running.
  • Church Preen Primary is open, but the Horrocks Busses are not running the service from Plaish.
