She also revealed how she would be taking up kickboxing in a bid to keep her fitness levels up in the New Year.
Kerry, of Belvidere, Shrewsbury, said it was her first time being interviewed live in a studio and she applied for the role of Soccerette – a mascot for her favourite football team – because it looked “fun”.
“I was watching the programme and I thought it would be fun, so I applied for it and got sent a load of questions to answer.
“I did that and they said, ‘Would you be interested in coming in?’”
She showed off her skills to the watching studio and television audience – including transforming a tea towel into a model of a chicken.
