School closures – 07/01/10

Shropshire Council has announced that the following schools are closed today because of the bad weather.
Secondary schools
- Belvidere Secondary, Shrewsbury
- Bishop’s Castle Community College
- Church Stretton Secondary
- The Grove School, Market Drayton
- Lacon Childe Secondary, Cleobury Mortimer
- Mary Webb School, Pontesbury
- Sir John Talbot’s, Whitchurch
Please note
Bridgnorth Endowed and Oldbury Wells schools are OPEN, but bus services from Cleobury (the 132), Claverley (the 120), and from Highley are unable to run.

- Clee Hill Primary
- Clive Primary School
- Hope Primary
- Kinlet Primary
- St Andrew’s Primary, Nesscliffe
- St George’s Primary, Clun

- Woodside Primary, Oswestry
Please note:
Bittlerley Primary is open, but R&B and Mawley Oak buses are not running.
Brown Clee Primary in Ditton Priors is open, but buses not running
Church Preen Primary is OPEN but buses aren’t running.
Corvedale Primary is OPEN. Buses will attempt to run, except for the Peaton service.
Maesbury Primary is OPEN, but children will need to take a packed lunch.
Special schools
Woodlands Special School, Wem
Colleges
Ludlow College is closed and the presentation evening is also cancelled.
Walford and North Shropshire College. Baschurch and Oswestry campuses are closed, including Footsteps Nursery in Oswestry
