Refuse collections in Leominster have been suspended for the past two days because of the weather.

And Paul Harris, who came to the rescue and gave an ambulance a tow after the vehicle skidded on ice and got stuck in mud on a driveway, near Shifnal, was today publicly thanked by bosses at the West Midlands Ambulance Service. All of Arriva’s bus services are running normally apart from a handful in the Bridgnorth.
They are: Service 297 Bridgnorth – Kidderminster, not servicing Trimpley Green; service 436 Bridgnorth – Shrewsbury, not servicing Queens Square, Barrow Street, Severn Way and Harley Village and service 9/99 Bridgnorth – Telford, not servicing Broseley Wood.
Arriva Trains Wales services between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton were delayed today.
A charity bingo night at Worthen village hall in aid of the air ambulance tomorrow night has been cancelled due to the weather.
