Charity seeks web designer
Wednesday 6th January 2010, 10:15AM GMT.
The Telford branch of the Samaritans is looking for someone handy with computers to volunteer their time and design a website for the charity.
The branch, based in King Street, Wellington, hopes a website will increase public awareness of the services it offers.
But no-one at the charity has web design expertise and the call has gone out to find a company or individual who can put them on the superhighway with a website of their own.
Telford Samaritans press officer Felicity Smith said the branch needed a simple but eye-catching site that could be easily maintained by volunteers.
She said: “We know what we want and will be able to maintain the website but don’t have the expertise to get started.
