One Facebook a group called Support for Sam, Sarah and Scott, currently has 402 members. A message on the page states: “Invite all your friends and make sure these three get as much support as possible.

“Sam, Sarah and Scott were recently involved in the Shrewsbury Explosion by the Welsh Bridge on the 3rd January 2010. Not only they could have lost their lives but they’ve lost their home and they need as much support as possible. So join and leave your kind words for them. We wish Annie and everyone else involved have a speedy recovery also.”

The group was set up by Abii Kelly, Marie Wood, David Batha and Dan Steed.

Ashley Andrew Radford said: “Get better soon guys. Was really shocked when I heard.”

Dave Phillips added: “Best wishes guys, hope you pull through asap. I’ll see you real soon.”

Another group has been set up for Angharad Davies called Support for Annie. A message on the site reads: “Annie will be OK and her condition is not as bad as initially thought.

“She does have really bad burns but the doctors say it won’t scar. She has been sedated for the time being and her family are with her. This couldn’t have happened to a nicer person, at the very least it will let her know that she has her friends behind her. Get better soon Annie.”

Posting on the site Steve Jones said: “Our thoughts are with all that were hurt.”

Lexie Roberts said: “Hope you are going to recover soon Annie. We all miss you and are shocked. Everyone is thinking of you.”

Andy Fisher said: “Wishin u and every1 involved a speedy recovery and just can’t believe this has happened 2 such nice people my heart goes 2 u all get well soon Annie xxxx.”
